Bloglet: Hard Frost

IMG_5950We finally had our killing frost last night. Our yard is surrounded by trees and concrete that impede frost, a green oasis in a desert of white lawns. When temps in the lower 20sF were forecast, I knew the killing frost was coming, so I picked this bouquet of sage and dahlias.

I still have some hardy mums blooming that have withstood the frost. Maybe I will pick them and maybe I will leave them to their own devices.
